These measures include a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) screening and thorough background checks for every member of our team. We believe that peace of mind begins before care even starts.
Once our carers have completed the detailed training programme delivered by our in-house instructors, they work closely with their care manager to ensure they have everything needed to deliver the exceptional service expected from Xtra Health Care.

All carers complete a rigorous training programme including manual handling, first aid, condition-led care, medication management, equality & diversity, personal care and safeguarding.
We invest in our carers and encourage them to enhance their theoretical and practical skills. We regularly work with CCGs and CHC teams to arrange NHS-funded home care.
